ASTORIA Queens (NYC) - A teenage girl left her home in an Astoria housing complex carrying a duffel bag and has not been seen since, according to police, who asked for help finding her.
Danae Houston, 13, was last seen around 10 p.m. Wednesday leaving her home within the NYCHA Ravenswood Houses, on 35th Avenue near 21st Street, according to police.
Police described her as Black and about 5 feet 6 inches tall, with a thin build and black hair.
She was last seen wearing purple pajama pants, a blue t-shirt, purple Crocs, eyeglasses, and carrying a black duffel bag.
Police asked anyone with information about her whereabouts to call the NYPD Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). People can also submit tips online or on Twitter, @NYPDTips.
