Maya Rockeymoore-Cummings' full speech at her husband Rep. Elijah Cummings' funeral
There were plenty of powerhouse speakers at Elijah Cummings funeral. There were great speeches by Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, and a moving remembrance by a former Cumming's aide, Joe Alexander but the person to best honor the late congressman was his wife, Maya Rockeymoore-Cummings.
Watch her moving tribute below.

Bill Clinton: Media Was Friendlier To Obama Because he was African-American
I don't know if Bill Clinton meant any harm or not but these recent comments are reminiscent of his comments in 2008 after Barack Obama won the South Carolina Democratic Primary that rubbed many African Americans the wrong way.
During an interview on CBS This Morning about a new book (The President is Missing) that he co-authored former President Bill Clinton discussed the media's treatment of Pres. Trump as compared to that of former President Obama. Clinton said he believed that President Barack Obama received much more positive media coverage than did other presidents due to his race.
Asked about the difference in press coverage between President Obama and President Trump, Clinton agreed that there was a difference.
“They did treat him [Obama] differently than other Democrats and Republicans,” Mr. Clinton said during the interview “It was the political press.”
Why? “I don’t know. They liked him. And they liked having the first African-American president, and he was a good president I think,” Mr. Clinton said. “I don’t agree with President Trump’s assessment of his service.

6 Reasons Hillary Clinton will win in November
Many Trump and Sanders supporters believe that Hillary Clinton has no chance at winning in November. They believe in all the negative hype that Clinton detractors have been putting over the decades, and that Trump will not just win, but win easily. That's simply not the case, here are six reasons why she will win and become the first female President of the United States.
1. Hate her or love her, she is simply the most qualified candidate ever to run for president. She has forgotten more about politics and world affairs than Sanders and Trump know combined.
2. She will have the Obama Coalition behind her and with that comes Barack Obama, The Campaigner, and Chief. He is very popular among Democrats and would energize those that sat the primary season out. Many of those supporters want to protect the Obama legacy and trust Clinton to do just that.
3. She will have arguably the greatest group of surrogates ever out there stomping for her campaign. Those surrogates would include President Obama, Michelle Obama, Bill Clinton, Joe Biden, and Elizabeth Warren. (If Bernie Sanders can stop pouting and come to his senses then he could also be on that list.) That's political star power no matter which one shows up at a rally or on television.
4. She has a superior campaign organization. She has veterans of winning presidential campaigns working for her and has ground games ready to go in toss-up states and important states such as Ohio, Florida, California, New Jersey, and Michigan.
5. She is facing a media personality, not a true candidate. Donald Trump can't help but be Trump, and he will self-implode under the stress of a presidential campaign where everything you do and say is vetted and questioned. His lack of substance will bite him in the ass.
6. Many Republicans simply can't bring themselves to vote for Trump. They will stick to their ideals and principles and take the loss this year so that they can win in 2020. They will not publicly support or endorse Hillary Clinton, but they will vote for her.
So that's my opinion Hilary Clinton will win in November. So what do you think?

Don't forget, Sanders voted for 1994 crime bill which destroyed African American communities
Don't forget, Sanders voted for 1994 crime bill which destroyed African American communities
By George L. Cook III EMAIL
In the interest of full disclosure I am a Hillary Clinton supporter. So now that we have that out of the way...
Yes, Bill Clinton's 1994 Crime Bill devastated many black families with its mandatory sentencing requirements. Yes, Hillary Clinton spoke out for the law as the First Lady. There is no disputing either point. But what also can't be disputed is that Sen. Bernie Sanders, unlike Hillary Clinton, voted for omnibus crime bill.
Listening to those pundits and Sanders supporters attacking Hillary Clinton over her use of the term "superpredator", you would never know that Sanders voted for the bill as that is often conveniently ignored. (Now to be fair Sanders himself has addressed this issue and fought to get the death penalty component changed to life imprisonment.) Sanders voted to send people to jail for unfairly long sentences whereas Hillary Clinton could not. There is a huge distinction there.
Here are various sources to prove that Sanders voted for the crime bill.
The Washington Post https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-politics/wp/2016/02/12/1994-crime-bill-haunts-clinton-and-sanders-as-criminal-justice-reform-rises-to-top-in-democratic-contest/
The Federalist: http://thefederalist.com/2015/11/03/bernie-sanders-voted-for-criminal-justice-measures-hes-denouncing/
And for those who may think that I am cherry picking sources to back up my writing, here is a post on Sanders own campaign website: https://berniesanders.com/press-release/sanders-voted-for-1994-crime-bill-to-support-assault-weapons-ban-violence-against-women-provisions/
There is plenty of blame to go around when it comes to the 1994 crime bill, but as one who didn't write or vote for the bill, Hillary should get the least of that blame.

Black Lives Matter protesters and Bill Clinton repeatedly clash in Philadelphia
Bill Clinton traded verbal shots in a feisty 15-minute exchange with Black Lives Matter protesters in Philadelphia on Thursday. Bill Clinton attempted to defend his wife's use of the term super predators and his 1994 crime bill that put more non-violent offenders in prison for longer stays.Watch the video of that confrontation below.
